前の状態や事実が続いているのに、それと矛盾する行動・気持ちが同時に存在すると述べます。「〜ながらも」に近い書き言葉です。
〜ものの／〜とはいうものの
前の事実を一応認めながら、それから予想される内容と食い違う事実や事情を後ろに述べます。
〜ところを
相手がある状況にある最中に働きかけることを、配慮・感謝・非難などを伴って述べます。
同じ意味・働きのグループに属する文法です。いつでも置き換えられるとは限りません。
