ある動作・状態が起きる時点や場面を示します。
〜にあたって／〜にあたり
重要な行事・仕事・新しい段階を迎える機会に、準備・挨拶などを行うことを改まって表します。
〜に際して
重要な行事・開始・変化などの機会に何かを行うことを、改まって表します。
〜際（に）
特定の出来事・行動が起こる機会や場合を示す、改まった「〜とき」の表現です。
同じ意味・働きのグループに属する文法です。いつでも置き換えられるとは限りません。
